From Back bedroom to £100 million hear in Scott's own words how he built his business and continues to grow and invest in others.

Scott Fletcher is one of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs and was recently awarded MBE for services to business and the community in the North West of England. While he now heads up companies with a total valuation in excess of £100m, he founded what is now his largest business, ANS, when he was just 22 years old.

Since its creation in 1996, ANS has grown to become a leading Managed Services and Cloud Provider in the UK, with over 170 employees and a £47m turnover. Scott is a widely known figure in the Manchester community thanks to his active charitable involvement, participation in local events and the outspoken views on politics, IT and business that have made him a respected voice in the media.

Scott recently took part in the UKTI Entrepreneur Festival as both the keynote speaker and as a mentor to young entrepreneurs and was listed in North West Business Insider’s Power 100. A supporter of local businesses,

Scott is actively involved in the Manchester business community. He is the Chairman and Lead Investor in Godel Technologies and cloudSMART, and recently invested in Prymo, a surface restoration firm based in Manchester. He is also on the board of the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership. Scott is also known for being a champion of youth and apprenticeships. In 2013 he founded ANS’ Cloud Academy, a 12-month apprenticeship programme that aims to rectify the skills gap within the IT sector and support young people as they develop a career in the industry.
