Martin Murphy is an international leadership and elite team coach. He is author of ‘From Mercenaries to Missionaries – Design, Develop and Lead High Performing Teams in Your Growing Business’ and founder of Elite Leadership Global.

Impostor syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments, and has a persistent internalised fear of being exposed as a “fraud”.

It’s a feeling most of us have faced, at least once, and is one of the most common self-sabotage patterns and could contribute to anxiety in young professionals and successful business leaders.

How do we reprogram this mindset and overcome imposter syndrome? This session with Martin will explore:

  • The biology of doubting yourself and what to do about it.
  • Overcoming resistance to success
  • Practising self awareness
  • Transforming your inner world
  • Inner coaching yourself
  • Managing your emotions
  • Inspire with purpose & motivate with a mission

05th August 2019 Alston Bar and Beef Event type: Community

Do you look after your mental health as much as you do your physical health?

We all make sure we squeeze in the gym after a busy day at work, drink several pints of water and eat our 5 a day, but we don’t always take the time to look after our mental health, do we?

How about joining a group of young professionals in a relaxed environment to learn some techniques and practices that you can apply in your everyday life to look after your mind?

If any of the above apply to you, you should absolutely join JCI Manchester for their Mindfulness Supper Club… where you’ll be guided through a series of mindfulness and self-compassion techniques by experts in the practice, which can help you to improve your mental health and cope with anxiety and stress.
